Funky baby memory book

10 Oct

Here is a baby memory book that I made for a little boy called Gregory. I wanted to avoid the traditional ‘blue for a boy, pink for a girl’ colour coding, so I chose a funky grey floral paper that had an unusual combination of pattern and colour.

The details about the baby are filled in on the righthand side of the page and a photograph can be stuck in on the lefthand side. This book is a highly personalised gift with the baby’s name used throughout the memory book.

Slate pink wedding set

11 Sep

Here is a wedding set that I made recently. It consists of a medium accordion album, an extra large Japanese bound album and a Secret Belgian bound guest book. The colour theme of the wedding was pink and slate grey so I thought that this modern polka-dotted paper contrasted with the grey bookcloth would suit.

I also found a polka-dotted grey ribbon that I couldn’t resist using on one of the albums – making a very polka-polka dotted album!

Lovely new paper supplies

28 Aug

I have just come back from London laden down with a stack of beautiful papers. Unlike Ireland, there are numerous paper suppliers – each one with an enormous amount of speciality papers. I was in heaven!

Here is a selection of some of the paper but please check out my Cover Papers page for the full stock.
